Hey there! I’m Vince, a writer, editor, and former professional dancer and musical theatre performer, currently based in Vancouver, Canada. My passion has always been storytelling – from the stage to page, and of course, on the digital screen. I’m a communications specialist for the Chartered Professional Accountants of BC, and a theatre reviewer for Stir. Previously, I covered theatre for The Georgia Straight and The Daily Hive.

Reading and writing were among my early loves, along with the performing arts. When I was eight years old, I started reading theatre reviews in the Calgary Herald while I waited for the school bus and became obsessed. By that point, I had already been captivated by the magic of theatre, but seeing someone expressing their analysis of shows such as Les Miserables, The Phantom of the Opera, and Evita, resonated with me differently and wonderfully. From that point, I decided that my life plan was to pursue a professional dance/theatre career, then go to university and transition into a career where I could exercise my writing skills, and hopefully incorporate theatre reviewing. And guess what? I made all that happen!

I still occasionally perform, and my next performance will be the Vancouver Lawyer Show production of Into The Woods, June 19-22, 2024. I’m also in the process of getting my first novel, Making it to the A-list, published, so stay tuned for that. Outside of writing and theatre, I’m very into Pilates, barre, yoga, HIIT conditioning, spin, learning recipes from TikTok, hanging with friends, and participating in my book club!
